Cascata del Catafurco
The waters of S. Baisilio torrent in the municipality of Galati Mamertino flow noisily from a wall that is almost 30 metres high, among rough and uneven limestone rocks as in a kind of “Ear of Dyonisus”. The whirling movement of waters eroded and shaped the rocks creating a cave called Marmitta dei Giganti.
